A few weeks ago I stumbled across a new variation of La Nouvelle Vie by the French singer/songwriter Michel Jonasz. The difference with the variation I already possessed is very subtle: in stead of COMPACT DISC MPO FRANCE followed by 01, the new variation has the same text but followed by 07 stamped in the plastic center. It also came with different inserts.
Interestingly, the labelside is overprinted with the text "P R O M O INTERDIT A LA VENTE" that has been applied onto the CD with a rubber handstamp, possibly indicating that is was a complimentary copy sent to a radio station or a record store for promotional purposes. Although I think the text could easily be removed without damage to the background paint, I am going to leave it as it is.
