The Target CD Collection: Oct. 28, 2013 : You Don't Always Get What You See

Nothing is what it seems to be.

For example, take a look at the pictures of a few Targets that I acquired recently. On the label side it says they were all MADE IN WEST GERMANY BY POLYGRAM, but when you look on the other side you can see the text MADE IN W. GERMANY BY PDO is etched around the center hole. On some CDs it is even specified that the PDO plant where they were manufactured is located in HANOVER.

I found these Targets with a variety of inserts: some were printed in West Germany, some in the U.S.A. while the rest was manufactured in Germany by Record Service GmbH, Alsdorf.
